In 2013, the Art Theatre of Long Beach, Inc. 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit was formed. The purpose of the non-profit is to support the continuing operations and mission of the theatre. The Art Theatre is dedicated to providing films of historical, cultural, and artistic significance, and to educate the public through discussion groups, workshops, and seminars.
By becoming a member you’re making a choice to support independent and local art. The Art Theatre is the last of its kind, and since the 1920’s has been dedicated to showcasing and supporting the arts right here in Long Beach. So we’re inviting you to help us continue that mission by becoming an Art Theatre member. When you become a member you not only gain entry to private events and screenings, but you also demonstrate a commitment to helping us continue our mission.
