The historic Art Theatre of Long Beach (est. 1924) invites you to join us in continuing our centennial celebration with the return of our Silent Short Films Festival in honor of Silent Movie Day 2024! The festival is a feature-length collection of silent short films, curated and presented by our film programmer. This year’s festival will focus on non-auteur cinema with hidden games and deep cuts from the early years of filmmaking. Selections include The Great Train Robbery, The Cameraman’s Revenge, Daisy Doodad’s Dial, Sweedie’s Skate & More!
